Birth Plan Consultation + Pregnancy Resources

Using my years of doula experience working with a wide variety of clients in all different birthing locations, I can guide you through what is often an overwhelming amount of choices and information as you decide how best to succinctly communicate the birth you desire. Whether you plan to birth at home, at a birth center or hospital, or want an unmedicated, no intervention birth or you know you want and epidural and any/all interventions, I will help you craft a clear and concise document communicating your birth preferences. After filling out a questionnaire, we will have an initial Zoom meeting when I can get to know you and what your ideal birth looks like. I’ll also give you answers to any questions you may have about the birth process and the plethora of options before you. You will leave the Zoom feeling confident in creating your birth preferences document. I provide 2 revisions of birth preferences draft to enable you to have the most clear/effective communication about your birth preferences to the staff caring for you as you travel journey through your birth. An additional Zoom can be scheduled to answer any additional concerns you have leading up to the birth (ideally between 36 and 38 weeks) and giving you best practices and tools for an empowered birth experience. Additionally, if questions arise after we have crafted your birth preferences I am a resource you can rely on to give you evidenced based advice that honors your instinctive knowing as parent.
