Birth Doula

Having a doula present at your birth can be life changing (and in some cases life saving). Studies show that receiving continuous support during labor results in shorter labors, fewer medical interventions and greater birth satisfaction. You may be feeling overwhelmed by the decisions you have to make or not know where to begin. I’ll be there with you every step of the way breaking down your options, making sure you are empowered to have the best birth outcome possible, and making you laugh along the way. And I’ll work to make sure you are prepared for postpartum recovery and the transition to parenthood.

With my birth doula package you will receive:

• 2+ prenatal meetings

• on-call period to attend your birth from week 38 - 42 weeks

• 1 postpartum visit to process the birth, assist with breastfeeding, help with family adjustment postpartum, and provide any postpartum resources necessary + my famous delicious homemade bone broth

• unlimited text, call, e-mail support throughout your pregnancy and postpartum

• continuous support during labor and delivery

• birthing resources and knowledge

• photos capturing various stages of labor and delivery, if you would like

• guidance in navigating your options for birth preferences

Option to add on additional services at a discounted rate:

• placenta encapsulation

• labor prep vaginal steaming package (includes additional prenatal visit)

• postpartum vaginal steaming package (includes additional 2 postpartum visits)

• a postpartum doula visit around 2 weeks postpartum (or whenever you need extra support) including lactation counseling, postpartum cooking and/or meal prep, light housework, newborn care, safe space to ask questions and express any feelings coming up
